"A Day Out" Acrylic on Board (Selling unframed) Measures: 14" x 10" I created this painting based on the idea of minimalism. I wanted to create a work with very simple lines using contrasting colours and angles to create a depth the viewer could imagine themselves getting lost in. Sometimes you look at a painting and let your imagination run away, perhaps pondering what is over the next hill. The trees are semi transparent in that you can see the lines passing behind. Its not often I paint such a simple design and even rarer I tackle anything resembling reality. Created using English manufactured high pigment paint. Signed on the front lower right.
